Day One | Saudi-Dutch Business Council Commences Its Official Visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands
The Saudi-Dutch Business Council commenced its official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, taking place from 8 to 10 June 2026, with a series of official meetings in The Hague. The visit aims to strengthen economic relations and explore new opportunities for trade, investment, and bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
The first day's program included a meeting with His Royal Highness Prince Jalawi bin Turki Al Saud, Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral trade relations and reinforcing the Council's role in fostering partnerships between the private sectors of both countries.
The delegation also met with officials from the Netherlands Foreign Investment Agency at the Ministry of Economic Affairs to discuss the Dutch investment environment, explore investment opportunities, and review the regulatory framework and key considerations for investors.
The first day's activities concluded with a visit to Aramco Europe, where both sides discussed opportunities for future collaboration and explored ways to leverage the company's international expertise in supporting economic initiatives and expanding cooperation between the Saudi-Dutch Business Council and the Dutch private sector.
